What You’ll Do:

The Accounts Receivable Manager will be a key member of the finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining customer records, setting up new customers, monitoring incoming payments to gather remittances for accurate cash posting, and monitoring customers that are past due or over their credit limit. This role will work closely with inside sales as well as shipping to effectively communicate with customers that are being put on hold.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and review weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports; prepare monthly account reconciliations.
  • Analyze and develop course of action to resolve issues and implement timely solutions for aged balances.
  • Lead team in researching and resolving aging issues and implement timely solutions; effectively guide communication for AR team with internal business partners as needed.
  • Partner with CFO to carry out course of action to reduce aged receivables.
  • Manage cash receipts process.
  • Manage AR adjustments to be approved by business unit partners.
  • Identify and communicate payment or issue trends to leadership in a timely manner; assist with audit requests as needed.
  • Summarize accounts receivable reporting, aging, & risks for weekly meeting with supervisor
  • Publish account status summary reports to Leadership Team weekly
  • Work with sales and shipping to communicate customers hold status
  • New customer setups
  • Review customers over their credit limit
  • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Other duties as assigned
