Announcing New Panasonic CF-53 Docking Station
Stevens Point, WI – March 21,2012 – Gamber-Johnson, an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of rugged docking
stations and vehicle mounting, announces a docking station designed for
the Panasonic Toughbook 53.
The new CF53 docking station is
designed to protect the Toughbook 53 semi-rugged computer from shock and
vibration with a specially designed isolator plate that drastically reduces the
extreme vibration levels that can affect computer performance and productivity.
The docking station’s latch mechanism
has a built-in keyed lock for theft deterrence; simply insert the computer and
push the latch closed to dock the computer. On the front of the docking station
a LED Power Switch has been incorporated to allow the user to hot dock the
computer without having to power it down. The CF53 docking station also has a
cable restraint system that restrains the USB cable by the connector head
rather than the cable ensuring a more secure connection.
The CF53 docking station has two
power supply options available:
- External
Lind Auto Adapter (sold separately) – can be mounted directly to
the bottom of the docking station - Factory
